I love traveling!
This trip to Russia really reminded me how much I love traveling. I can be totally stranger in exotic city and see the world in a fresh eye. I tend to forget this because I'm too busy thinking about work, myself and everything but I just remembered that we are living in a very beautiful world. Oh I wish I can keep traveling!! Finding differences and similarities. Breathing the unknown world and absorbing its knowledge. Feeling nostalgia for the past and future.
Speaking of beauty, it was a quite surprise for me to know that Russian boys are totally cute!! Well, there are two types of men in Russia. KGB type huge guys and sensitive type guys. They have really beautiful eyes. I can dedicate whole chapter for describing my love for Russian boys!
Everything was huge and beautiful in Russia, train station, buildings, cities... Russian people don't smile much (maybe because it's too cold??) but once we start talking, they are totally nice and kind. Look at him! I met this Russian guy in the market. He was first being shy for the picture, but he posed for me! Totally lovely!!
As I cannot read Russian alphabet, it was very difficult for me to find ways. This reminded my non-Japanese speaking friend, who uses iPhone GPS to walk around Tokyo. When I head this first time, I thought that is very strange but as most of Japanese don't speak English as Russian people don't, I can now understand his point. Another good points of traveling. You can have a new point of view. : )
As I heard that Russia is really freezing, so I was very much afraid of its coldness but it turned out OK. It would become colder and colder everyday, though! I would like to try its freezing winter that even the canals and rivers froze, but I would prefer to visit again during the summer time. Must be very lovely.
I felt a bit strange because it has the coldness of Tokyo's winter but the leaves are in yellow like autumn. Indeed I visited Russia in Autumn. When I came back to Tokyo, the trees are still in green. I felt the bigness of the world. This is the 7500 km difference.
World is huge but if you try to capture it, you can do it. You can go to anywhere and meet and talk with people there. I think this is truly wonderful.I would try traveling and seeing the world and finding my favorite things.
Oh I couldn't write about cities and foods!! I would name this blog as "part1". To be continued!!
